The Kerala State Government has honoured the ace playback singer and Carnatic musician, KJ Yesudas with the Lifetime Achievement Award. The function was held at the State Legislature Assembly complex in Kerala where the Chief Minister, Oomen Chandy handed over the award, comprising of Rs. 1 lakh cash prize and a memento, to KJ Yesudas.
Thanking the CM bestowing him with the honour, the singer appealed to all political parties to work in tandem for the betterment of the state.
