A big relief for Lingaa team!

With the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court dismissing the petition of Ravi Rathnam, it is indeed a huge relief for the Lingaa team. Ravi Rathnam had alleged in his petition that the story of Lingaa, which is based on the Mullai Periyar Dam, belongs to him and the makers of Lingaa have violated his copyrights by making a film out of it.

The Judge had reserved the orders on this case a few days ago and pronounced yesterday that the case is dismissed. This is a huge relief for the Lingaa team!
