Oscar-Grammy winner A R Rahman will score music for ace Bollywood personality Shekhar Kapur's next venture, which is about SlumGods, a hip-hop group.
Founded by Akash Dhangar, SlumGods from Dharavai fought all odds and made it big with its international collaborations. The movie will trace the troupe's journey.
Shekhar Kapur, who is happy about having Rahman on board, says the SlumGods group itself has Tamil connect. "Many boys in it are Tamilians and SlumGod's songs are mostly Tamil-Marathi-English mixed."
