Appeal against court’s decision on Lingaa.

Ravi Rathnam, who had filed a copyright violation case against the makers of Lingaa, has filed an appeal against the order of the single Judge at the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court. According to the appeal filed, the defendants have made contradictory statements in their counters. 

Ravi Rathnam has alleged that while in the counter filed by Rajinikanth it has been stated that the story and screenplay has been written by director Ponkumaran, in the petition filed by KS Ravikumar it has been stated that the story and screenplay has been penned by Ponkumaran and KS Ravi Kumar respectively. The appeal will come up for hearing today.
